Upcoming Event Dates

Prostatis Financial’s Virtual Food Drive

Donations accepted between May 19, 2020, and June 30, 2020

Each year, Prostatis partners with a charitable organization. We want to encourage helping others who are in need and educating ourselves about what is going on in our community. Our clients enjoy the opportunity to talk one-on-one with the organizations and learn about all the different ways they can assist.

Due to COVID-19 and the uncertain times ahead for many in the Maryland area, we have decided to partner with the Maryland Food Bank in 2020. At this point in time, they are strictly collecting monetary donations through their online fundraising portal. As always, thank you for your support!

Now through June 30, Prostatis Financial is matching all donations up to $4,000.

First Fridays

Our First Fridays events are held on the first Friday of every month to give our clients the opportunity to ask questions about their portfolio or to talk about financial concerns and issues. Each month is a different topic, so be on the lookout for a topic you’re interested in. Light refreshments will be served.

Retirement Today

Forget everything you were told about retirement.

Retiring has changed from what it used to be. Many retirees in the past depended on a pension or Social Security, but the baby-boom generation and on likely won’t be able to depend on just that. Fresh challenges have created a new retirement landscape, and retirees are looking for true education.

At Retirement Today, you’ll discover information about:

  • IRAs
  • The new federal tax code and standard deductions.
  • Social Security and “taxation surprise.”
  • A wide variety of financial tools and retirement income.
  • Health care, long-term care, life insurance, and estate planning.
  • Market volatility and the potential danger.
  • How to leave your legacy to loved ones.
